​Brilliant, but troubled, electrical engineering graduate student NICOLE, in the company of her close friends ALICE, CLARK and JASON, must return to the house of her estranged aunt who has passed away under dubious circumstances.  The friends are there to deal with the logistics of clearing out Nicole’s aunt’s belongings; however, once they arrive, not only is NICOLE bombarded with memories of her childhood, she is likewise haunted by the ghosts of her family legacy and the shocking truths about her own identity.  Psychological thriller/drama.

The Yellow Wallpaper

Based on a classic short story, The Yellow Wallpaper follows the psychological decay of a young writer.

“Quarry” A re-telling of the Persephone myth. Near to where the local children play in the summer, there is a deep old rock quarry that has become a favorite swimming hole. When Abigail visits from the city – sent away while her parents hash out a messy divorce – she is intrigued by the seemingly bottomless pit of water. Little does she know that someone is equally intrigued by her. 

“At the Edge of Babylon”
A reimagining of the ‘John the Baptist’ story set at the eve of the 1929 Wall Street Crash; seen from the point of view of the ‘Salome’ figure. Set in Jazz Age New York. 

“The Sea Project” a young woman has moved with her new husband to a small Canadian town. After finding an old locket tucked away in a trunk from and antique store, she learns the story of this locket and its connection to one of the most devastating ship wreaks known to Canada. A painter, she begins to have haunting visions of the terrible accident – or, is she just reliving her own trauma of recent nearly-fatal accident at sea. 

“Fado (Fate)”An ancient Portuguese maritime curse plagues a young American mother who learns of her family’s legacy vis-a-vis 
sea-faring culture and a myth of mermaids.
